The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering provides educational services through a total of 120 Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs. The educational process is facilitated by highly qualified specialists from 8 academic and research institutes, including mechanical, construction and architecture, economics and management, automation and computer-integrated systems, healthcare, law, agroecology and land management, automation, energy, and water management, as well as the Institute of Subsurface Studies and 5 colleges. The university has its institute for advanced training, a military training department, and a center for military personnel support. A separate division is the Department of Physical Education.
NUWEE actively engages in scientific research and development, both funded by the state budget and on a commercial basis. Professional directions address issues in agriculture, forestry and horticulture, veterinary medicine, economics, environmentally friendly production and construction technologies, environmental protection, extraction and processing of minerals, chemical processes and substances in ecology, and rational nature management.
The vision of NUWEE states that the university is a place for generating an intellectual elite. NUWEE is an institution that builds a system that itself is intelligence, generates intelligence, and influences the development and harmonization of society. The university regularly conducts monitoring of student satisfaction levels through various support mechanisms, the educational process, teachers, and specific educational programs, ensuring a student-centered approach.
The university also has its own charity fund, which ensures the functioning of the Rivne Water Supply and Sewerage Utility No. 1. Additionally, there is a Center for Military Personnel Support and a rehabilitation center. NUWEE actively participates in community development, including the design of elements of water and transportation infrastructure by the university, and the institution’s experts are involved in the construction and architectural components.
