Dnipro University of Technology is one of the leading state technical higher education institutions, founded in 1899. It was the first higher educational institution in the Dnipropetrovsk region, providing opportunities for over a hundred thousand graduates. Its dynamic development contributed to the establishment of engineering education in Ukraine and the creation of world-class scientific schools within the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Today, Dnipro University of Technology is a modern European-type university, consisting of 5 institutes, 7 faculties, and 3 colleges. The university leads the region in implementing engineering education projects, including the successful implementation of the Mechatronics School Inetpipe Mechatronic Lab project supported by innovative businesses (Interpipe). Dnipro University of Technology actively engages youth in studying engineering sciences, promoting technical education, strengthening education-business links, and preparing highly qualified professionals with practical skills. The university operates scientific and educational centers, research centers, and laboratories.
The European level of education and science at the university is ensured by highly educated faculty recognized in partner universities of European Union countries, the implementation of modern educational technologies, and developed infrastructure to provide a closed cycle of professional training both in practical directions using elements of dual education and in research. Training of applicants is carried out in more than 55 specialties at the first, second, and third levels of education. To create a favorable environment for the implementation of student projects, the university operates the Business Incubator Development Center “Business Incubator Dnipro University of Technology.” Dnipro University of Technology is the only technical higher education institution in Ukraine where students have access to over fifteen diverse cultural and linguistic centers and centers for additional education and development.
The university defines its social mission through the implementation of various initiatives and events aimed at active participation in the development of society and supporting its needs. Applied research conducted at the university aims to solve specific social problems and implement innovations into practice.
